After 29 years as a Fuji musician, ‘Orobokibo’ crooner, Abass Akande Adeniyi, a.k.a Obesere, will, in September, release a hip-hop album.

The singer, formerly a boxer, proved he was capable by featuring in debutant, Diamondz’s single, ‘Bosokoto.’

The album, which will be sold for N1000, will feature the likes of Timaya, Lord of Ajasa and 9ice. If this works out, he will be the first Fuji musician to make a full Hip-hop album.

You are not yet a star  until you get one of this. Nope, I don’t man those dark glasses that for some inexplicable reason artistes wear at night. Neither am I talking about the BB. I am not even referring to the fine white suit. I mean that towering image in the middle of the picture.

Yup, that’s MI’s personal bodyguard.

Already no other emcee can mess with the dude onstage but now even offstage y’all better be careful how you approach the short black dude with a very big human shield. Or does that look like a casual pose to you?  I mean on the Bodyguard.

He looks cute though ( I am still talking about the Bodyguard) despite the mean look. I am sure he’s just some nice gentle giant. Well, there’s only one way to find out and I am not too keen on getting a broken wrist.

That he looks this "foin"- we love him already!

FEMI brings to the stage a rich blend of R&B, hip hop and soul with a twist. Although easily compared to the likes of American artistes Neyo and Omarion, his sound does have a Nigerian feel to it. After a 15 year stay in the US, he recently moved back to Nigeria where he signed on to Kennis Music. Already he has released three singles: Baby I got it featuring EeDris, Ma Pa Mi featuring Ego and Never felt a love like this.
