MTV coming-off age show, My Super Sixteen is set to go global but with a change of name.The new version is simply tagged My Super Sweet as the age limit has been upped from 16 to 21.

The show would take the same format as the original where viewers get to see some rich kid (with  family and friends) “plan, plot and prepare for the birthday of a lifetime”.

The producers are promising a “bigger, rowdier and more glamorous” show as they set their sights on sassy, edgy party hosts who are planning birthday celebrations throughout the globe. Shooting will take place this year and will show on all MTV channels around the world.

The search is on in Nigeria and potential hosts from “Jos to Lagos, Abuja to Port Harcourt and everywhere in” between now have a chance to invite MTV to their extravagant birthday bash.  Applications are open to young people marking their 16th to 21st birthdays this year.
